Blood Drive

On Saturday, March 6th, many parishioners attended the blood drive sponsored by the St. Gabriel Youth Group. I was happy to see so many of my neighbors donating so selflessly. By donating a unit of blood, three lives can be saved. So many hospitals need blood for transfusions and other procedures, and our parishioners generously gave what they could. The blood drive was a huge success, collecting forty-five units of blood over the expected thirty-one. Though all fifty-seven parishioners who attended were not able to donate, a special thanks is given to all who came to help out as well as Heartland Blood Center team members. Thank you for helping our youth group truly "Make A Difference."
